Description: The Manufacturing Electrical Engineer will collaborate closely with our manufacturing team to drive quality improvements in electromechanical products. This role is essential in identifying quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, electromechanical functions, and quality improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.Key Responsibilities:Identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues related to electrical and electromechanical products during the manufacturing process.Conduct
root cause analysis for product failures and develop robust corrective action plans.Collaborate closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to implement improvements in processes and product quality.Assist in the development and documentation of standardized processes and procedures to ensure consistent product quality.Participate in Kaizen events and other continuous improvement initiatives to promote efficiency and quality throughout the production line.Conduct regular audits, inspections, and testing of products to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.Provide training and guidance to manufacturing staff on quality improvement initiatives and processes.Monitor and report on the effectiveness of corrective actions and process improvements.Develop and implement rigorous quality procedures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations.Work closely with quality assurance teams to resolve any manufacturing issues impacting product quality, ensuring corrective actions are in place.Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in appliance or electromechanical product manufacturing.Strong
understanding of electromechanical systems and their quality challenges.Familiarity with electrical process documentation (schematics, diagrams, etc.).Proficiency in CAD software and engineering tools such as CATIA, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.Experience
with quality improvement tools such as root cause analysis, 8D, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing.Ability
to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and product specifications.Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing quality issues.Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.Desired Skills:Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication, metal forming, painting, final assembly, testing, and inspection processes.Experience with gas and electrical heating systems and understanding of basic electricity principles.Knowledge of quantitative quality control methods and the ability to apply statistical analysis to improve quality.Proficiency in the use of quality management tools and techniques, such as FMEA, Control Plans, and APQP.
