THIS POSITION REQUIRES A FULL 3 YEARS OF ICU EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED.The right candidate will have 3 full years of current ICU experience.Travelers could also float to the sister facility Mercy Gilbert, if needed.Typically, every other weekend is required but might have to work 3 weekends a month if unit is busy and needs extra coverage.Flexibility is a must.Travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon offer with 2 max attempts.There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation (study guides will be provided with the first day instructions).COVID vaccine is required or declination form with appropriate documentation AND hospital approval.Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE must also include EITHER neuro or CV.UNA Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48hrs PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE of a position.RNs required to titrate drips.Experience or 'Must have' skillsCharge Nurse roles include duties without taking patients.Schedule Information

Self scheduling.Manager may need to balance shifts for unit needs.3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule, Nightshift weekends are Friday - Saturday. Dayshift are Saturday - Sunday.May have 1 holiday off in an assignment.No additional call/standby shifts required.May be low censused up to 3 times per contract depending on unit needs.Unit Specific Information

Surgical ICU - Trauma Neuro SurgeryMedical ICU - Medical Cardiac + OverflowCVICU- Various procedures.No monitor techs on unit, RN required to interpret own strip.RT in ICU 24/7Dress Code: NavyUnit/Department specific orientation of 1-2 days.Additional Details

Will validate skills for trauma, neuro and speciality devices as needed.Expectation is to float between all 3 ICUs.Okay with first time traveler, however must have 3 years experience (with 2 of those years in the ICU).Level 1 experience or neuro experience not required but preferred.Prefer prior experience work at a similar size unit ICU.
