Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Lithonia GA (20 miles E of Atlanta)We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who is experienced in orthopedics/musculoskeletal issues to join our medical practices in Lithonia, GA. Our ideal Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point and joint injections, so the incoming candidate must have experience doing those types of procedures. Excellent work life balance with ½ day office hours on Fridays!

Duties:
Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)Order and review tests/labs (MRIs, NCVs, etc)Diagnosis and treatment plan formulationPatient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises, and various modalitiesManage patient careTreatments- perform trigger point and joint injectionsPrescribe physical therapy and/or chiropractic care as neededPrescribe medications as necessary for pain and treatment (no narcotics prescribed)Documentation and progress notes - daily, timely and accurateCollaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care plansRequirements:
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) programPA/NP license in GAOrthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is preferredExperience with trigger point and joint injections preferredSchedule:
Full timeMonday - Friday (1/2 days on Fridays)Compensation:
$120k-$125k (DOE)Benefits:
