Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Sugar Hill GA (45 min NE of Atlanta)We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner who is experienced in orthopedics/musculoskeletal issues to join our medical practice in Sugar Hill (Buford) and Grayson, GA. Our ideal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point and joint injections, and the
PA/NP must be experienced in Joint injections and caring for musculoskeletal injuries/complaints . The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will split coverage between 2 offices (Grayson and Sugar Hill), which are about 15 miles apart.

Duties:
Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)Order and review tests/labs (MRIs, NCVs, etc)Diagnosis and treatment plan formulationPatient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises, and various modalitiesManage patient careTreatments- perform trigger point and joint injectionsPrescribe physical therapy and/or chiropractic care as neededPrescribe medications as necessary for pain and treatment (no narcotics prescribed)Documentation and progress notes - daily, timely and accurateCollaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care plansRequirements:
Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (NP) programPA/NP license in GAOrthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is preferredMust be Experienced in joint injections and musculoskeletal issues

$120,000 to $125,000 (DOE)Benefits:
