A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool.Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation.COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD.Job Requirements

The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience, an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact.TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE DRIPS!!Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (WITH 2 MAX ATTEMPTS), within 48 hours of offer.Schedule Information

There will be frequent floating to the sister facility, Mercy Gilbert.Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start.Floating to different units mid-shift can happen.Rare to float to another campus within a single shift, but possible.The distance between the 2 campuses is 9 miles.Depending on traffic takes 15 minutes.All interstate.Must clock-out when leaving one campus then clock-in when arrive at the other campus.Shifts: 12 hr shifts. 7-7.Unit Specific Information

Tele B3A: 32 beds, Certs: BLS, ACLS, Ratios: 1:3-4, Common diagnosis/Types of patients: Post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, general tele.Tele Neuro: 28 beds, Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, Common diagnosis/Types of patients: Neuro post surgical, post cranis, spine, CVAs post TPA.Medical-Surgical C5: 32 beds, Certs: BLS, ACLS, Common diagnosis/Types of patients: 80% Surgical, 20% Oncology.Medical-Surgical B2C: 29 beds, Certs: BLS, ACLS, Common diagnosis/Types of patients: General MedSurg patients that require tele.Additional Details

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS;Auto Offer off of Prescreen Recc.MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE CARDIAC DRIPS!!Floating is required.Depending on skill level, nurses will float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, as well as all Tele units, MedSurg, any & every holding area (this could be in the Cath Lab, ER, observation floor, even a hallway).They staff the observation floor 1st, then the other units.Is the "new grad training unit", all new grads train with a "clinical scholar" for 4 weeks.
