Transactional Associate Attorney
An established law firm is seeking a Corporate Transactional Associate Attorney to add to their growing team! Ideal candidate will be motivated, professional, analytical and have relevant experience in transactional law.
Transactional Associate Attorney Requirements:
- 1 years of relevant experience
- Experience in business and real estate transactions, corporate, tax planning, trust and estates, business litigation, family law, banking and finance, cannabis law, and intellectual property.
- Excellent communication in writing, speaking, research and negotiations.
- Strong academic background preferred from ABA approved law school
- Growth mindset with desire to advance in their career path
- Ability to work well as a team member in a collaborative, collegial office environment
- Licensed in AR in good standing

Job Responsibilities;
- Manage assigned caseload independently and efficiently
- Draft and respond to correspondence
- Prepare pleadings, financial disclosures, mediation and trial briefs
- Propound and respond to discovery
- Telephone and in-person contact with clients, opposing counsel and the courts
- Take and defend depositions
- Prepare witness questions for evidentiary hearings, depositions and trials
- Track billable time
- Assist the supervising attorneys in all phases of the practice
- 1850 billable hours per year
Qualifications;
- Must be admitted to and in good standing with the state bar
- 3 Years Practicing Family Law
- Empathetic, and level-headed demeanor to properly handle sensitive family law matters
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and analytical skills,
- Excellent writing and legal research skills
- Attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
