About the role
Ultimately, our Technical Support Specialists are problem solvers. As a support specialist, you will provide phone and email support to our customer base for their POS software and hardware. You will become a product expert of POS Nations software and work alongside our customers to help them run and manage their stores.
The ideal candidate will be a technical, critical thinker who understands technology and can use their knowledge to reach resolutions efficiently while providing "white glove" customer service. We are looking for someone hungry to grow and learn.
Job ResponsibilitiesThink on your feet and resolve problems quicklyAnswer phone calls and respond to emailed tickets keeping the SLAMaintain lab environments for testing new updates to software and attempting to replicate issues and potential bugsMaintain documentation for products and trainingTroubleshoot technical problems in Windows and SQL ServerTroubleshoot PC Hardware, Printers, Cash Drawer, Scanner Scales and Network FirewallsRequired Skills
Experience with PC Hardware troubleshootingStrong written, telephone, and personal communication skillsExcellent Customer Service soft skills and the ability to build and maintain customer relationshipsGrowth Mindset - Always LearningAdvanced knowledge of Windows Operating Systems including Windows 10 Pro, Windows 11 Pro, and Windows Server 2016Experience with Network Protocols, Switches, and Firewall configurationWhat we Offer
