Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Summary:
The role includes executing validation per MT established protocols for new and installed lab software systems, providing services for customer implementations in both regulated and non-regulated environments, working with pre-sales to build sales pipeline, coordinating validation activities, providing secondary phone support to end-users and training support to field sales organization, having a basic understanding of lab instruments and balances that connect to software, and other duties as assigned. The candidate is expected to balance multiple projects and priorities while participating in cross-functional teams within Professional Services.
Overnight Travel for this position is expected to be 60% to 65% covering the United States
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Executes validation per MT established protocols which include procedures to support the definition, development, installation, start-up, and testing of new and installed lab software systems and applications.
•Provides services for customer implementations and installations in both regulated and non-regulated environments.
•Works with pre-sales in consultative capacity to build sales pipeline.
•Responsible for the communication and coordination of validation activities and for balancing multiple projects and priorities while participating on cross-functional teams within Professional Services.
•Provide Secondary phone support to end-users, sales personnel, and field service technicians on the Laboratory Software product lines.
•Training support to field sales organization, customer support, insides sales and other members of Professional Services.
•Competently use and have a basic understanding of Lab Instruments and Balances that connect to software.
•Other duties may be assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
Education, Experience & Skills •BS Degree in Science, Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, and/or experience with computer and application validation, cGMPs, and 21 CFR Part 11 in an FDA regulated environment.
•Information Technology experience within the following systems is required/ Certifications are not necessary:
- Microsoft Server/Client Operating Systems
- Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Microsoft Active Directory / LDAP
- Microsoft Networking Fundamentals
•Problem solving ability along with excellent communication skills and diplomacy with customers are critical to the performance in the position.
