Senior Counsel, Vaccines US and Global Commercial

position is critical to support the growing Vaccines business by providing expert legal counsel on a range of activities covering the promotion, distribution, support, and sale of Vaccines. Strategic-level thinking is essential, as is exceptional judgment and a strong work ethic. These responsibilities include some of the following:Serving as a key legal advisor on commercial activities involving Vaccines in the US and Global market, with a strong focus advising on the promotional, sale and distribution of Vaccines to public and private entities.Providing significant product support as a brand lawyer with expertise advising on both promotional and non-promotional initiatives across a highly matrixed organization. The role requires substantial depth in the fundamentals of FDA advertising and promotion as well as fraud and abuse, while simultaneously demonstrating breadth in multiple related areas. The ability to issue spot and collaborate with legal subject matter experts and other legal colleagues is critical.Providing significant support on pricing and contracting for the sale of vaccines including substantial advising on antitrust law and fraud and abuse risks.Counseling on the external legal environment relating to operating a Vaccines business, with a clear understanding of industry practices.Engaging with cross-functional teams and matrix partners (e.g., Medical Affairs, Communications, Commercial Operations, Regulatory, Supply) to support the goals of the Vaccines commercial organization and effectively communicate complex information in clear and concise terms.Partnering with Compliance to ensure Policies/SOPs are fit-for-purpose and the organization is adequately trained to ensure adherence to those Policies/SOPs.Managing outside counsel in limited circumstances.Why you?Basic Qualifications:We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:U.S. Juris Doctor (J.D.)Current member of a state barMinimum of 7 years industry experienceExperience in US FDA promotional laws/regulationsPreferred Qualifications:If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:NonePlease visit GSK US Benefits Summary to learn more about the comprehensive benefits program GSK offers US employees.Why GSK?Uniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.GSK is a global biopharma company with a special purpose - to unite science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together - so we can positively impact the health of billions of people and deliver stronger, more sustainable shareholder returns - as an organisation where people can thrive.
