What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is currently seeking a Business and Requirements Analyst to join our Department of State cyber support programs. The Candidate will support project managers as members of technical teams tasked with updating the Department’s cyber posture leading to advanced and optimal zero trust maturity.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Support client discovery meetings with cybersecurity project teams, including assessments and detailed project reviews

  • Document findings from discovery meetings, and setup recurring meetings as required

  • Develop cybersecurity documentation, including visualization models, process mapping and collateral for end users and technical managers

  • Support teams updating system configurations to meet Zero Trust identity pillar requirements

  • Support the project managers communicating and tracking contract progress

  • Support other contract teams implementing new cyber tools

  • Demonstrate familiarity with systems integration projects

  • Confidently interact with different stakeholders and understand networking and cloud operations


What You Will Need:

  • Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance 

  • Bachelor's degree

  • FIVE (5) years of analyst experience

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance

  • Ability to support multiple activities and take the lead if necessary

  • Ability to lead a requirements management team and develop Policy documentation

  • Ability to become a subject matter expert in cloud operations, firewall configurations, or systems integrations

  • Ability to apply a variety of problem-solving techniques to resolve issues

  • Ability to mentor junior team members

  • Experience with document tagging

  • Experience interpreting new policies, cybersecurity policies, requirements, and compliance

  • Knowledge of network Architectures, technology, deployments and strategies

  • Knowledge of enterprise systems and deployments: IT Service Management, Change Requests, Requirements collection, etc.

  • Demonstrates clear writing, confident presentation at all levels (technical SMEs to agency executives) and effective facilitation skills and the ability to tailor communication to effectively reach audience

The annual salary range for this position is $109,100.00-$163,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
