WONDERY is seeking a Sr. Marketing Manager, Video; to play a critical role in leading our video marketing efforts across organic, paid social and emerging video platforms. The right candidate has robust content marketing experience, developing video marketing strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness and customer acquisition. This role will manage all aspects of our video marketing initiatives, from content development, creation, distribution, analytics and ensuring our brand stands out in a competitive digital landscape. This position will report into the Head of Marketing Resources and will manage multiple video agencies.
The Digital Marketing Manager, Video requires an individual who is highly data driven, organized and analytical with strong strategic and tactical skills. The candidate will develop and execute detailed strategic plans; plan schedules and manage multiple video campaigns; while collaborating across multiple teams (Content, Franchise, Sales, Show Marketing and Analytics).
Key job responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive video marketing strategies for YouTube, social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Linkedin) and emerging platforms (e.g. FAST, AVOD and SVOD) that align with brand/show goals and target key audiences.Create distribution strategies for engaging short-form video tailored to each digital platform's unique format and audience preference.Develop go-to-market plans for video across all platforms.Oversee production of high-quality promotional video content, including scripting, shooting, editing and post production in collaboration with external partners.Collaborate with YouTube Channel Managers to ensure growth across our channels, including content planning, optimization (SEO, Thumbnails, titles, tags), audience engagement and expansion and performance analytics.Monitor and analyze the performance of video content with all available external tools (e.g. YouTube Analytics, Sprinkler, Sprout) to deliver regular reports and insights with actionable recommendations to improve our growth, reach and engagement.Stay current with the latest trends in video marketing, algorithms, emerging platforms to ensure our strategies remain innovative and effective.Cross-Functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to align video content with our marketing campaigns and objectives.Work with platform partners to ensure the business is adopting the latest product features and best practices.Strategically develop and execute workflows that will help our video marketing efforts.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experienceExperience using data and metrics to drive improvementsExperience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programsExperience communicating results to senior leadershipExperience in emerging video platforms such as YouTube and FAST, or similar
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrate organizational skills, flexibility and ability to produce results in a fast paced environment.Experience owning a project from ideation to execution.Deep research skills with tools (keywords, competitive and content tools).
