This is a permanent position, where the successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of low voltage systems, alarms, intercoms, and video. With 5+ years of experience under your belt, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the safety of our facilities and staff, and contributing significantly to our operations. Responsibilities:As a Fire Alarm Install and Service Technician, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:1. Installing, programming, and servicing fire alarm systems in compliance with current codes and regulations.2. Conducting regular inspections and performing routine maintenance on alarm systems to ensure they are in good working order.3. Diagnosing and repairing faults in fire alarm systems.4. Testing and evaluating systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.5. Providing technical support and training to staff and customers as needed.6. Collaborating with the engineering team to design fire alarm systems for new facilities.7. Documenting all installations, inspections, maintenance, and repair work.8. Keeping up-to-date with advancements in fire alarm technology and safety regulations.Qualifications:The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Install and Service Technician or in a similar role.2. Comprehensive knowledge of low voltage systems, alarms, intercoms, and video.3. A strong understanding of fire alarm system codes and safety regulations.4. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical diagrams.5. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.6. Strong communication and customer service skills.7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.8. Physical fitness, as the role involves manual labor and potentially working in confined spaces.9. A valid driver's license.10.
