This is a unique opportunity to join a progressive, high-energy, and results-driven team in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and a problem solver with a passion for safety and a solid background in fire alarm systems.Responsibilities: Install, maintain, inspect, and repair fire alarm systems in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and local building codes. Perform routine inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently. Identify potential issues or malfunctions and take corrective action as necessary. Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of all testing, inspections, and maintenance activities. Provide training and guidance to other team members on fire alarm system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure fire alarm system requirements are met for new construction or renovation projects. Respond promptly to emergency calls and service requests. Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in fire alarm technology and safety regulations.Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician. Proficient in testing, inspecting, and repairing fire alarm systems. Comprehensive knowledge of NFPA standards and local building codes related to fire alarm systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to various job sites. Certified Fire Alarm Technician (CFAT) or equivalent certification is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in a related field is preferred. Physical ability to climb ladders, lift heavy objects, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
