DESCRIPTION
Mendocino-Lake Community College District is currently accepting applications for a Computer Support Technician to work in our Information Technology Department.
This is a full-time, Classified position, 40 hours per week, 12 months a year. The hours for this positions will be Monday - Friday, 10:00 am - 7:00 pm.

Under direction of the department manager, performs computer support activities; installs microcomputers and servers; recommends hardware and software solutions; trains users in equipment and software; maintains hardware and software inventory; assists in networking issues; troubleshoots network printer problems; provides instructional computer lab support for faculty and administrative staff; provides support for multi-media equipment, teleconferencing, provides support and training for smart classrooms.

Salary Range (28): The starting monthly salary range is $4,835 - $5,077. There are six annual step movements; initial placement will be at step 1, unless approved by the Superintendent/President.

Holidays and Paid Time Off: The successful candidate will earn twelve (12) days of vacation and twelve (12) days of sick leave per year. Vacation leave increases with the length of service. There are twenty (20) paid holidays annually.
Retirement: This position is eligible for CalPERS Retirement.

The successful candidate will support student and institutional success by executing the following duties:
