Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities.The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a bill rate bump per hour.MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS.TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.If candidates have IN/Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package they are eligible to apply.First Time Travelers Accepted.Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12.Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.Skillset Preferences: Central line experience, post-op patient assessments, experience with drains (foleys, JP drains, NG tubes).Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals.Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6 depending on staffing.Schedule Information
