Volt is immediately hiring Senior Network Administrator in Aurora, CO.
As Senior Network Administrator you will:
You will be supporting a program in a classified environment as a Network Administrator. Responsibilities include building, maintaining, and securing Information Technology systems and directly supporting customer mission-critical capabilities. You will work closely with program developers and system engineers to research issues, determine root causes and implement solutions to system problems. Must be able to support occasional after hour maintenance and on-call support and must be able to lift up to 35 pounds in support of hardware installations. Occasional travel may be required for installation support. This position is an onsite role.
This is a 12 Month full time Contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with poly
Qualifications: You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or a master's degree and minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience. TS/SCI with poly security clearance is required prior to start date. Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date. IAT Level 2 requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND. Experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Cisco enterprise network equipment to include Cisco IOS routers and switches, Cisco IOS-XE, Cisco NX-OS switches, Nexus 5K and 7K, Cisco Catalyst 6500 both Hybrid and Native mode, Cisco and enterprise firewalls Working understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite, (ARP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, IP) and experience with LAN routing (static, EIGRP, OSPF) and switching (PVST+, 802.1q trunking, VLAN)
Qualifications: We Prefer Cisco CCNA certification Experience with cloud computing/networking (AWS Networking) Experience with Cisco IOS QOS, congestion avoidance and management Experience with WAN technologies (Metro Ethernet, POS, DS-3, T-1, MPLS, BGP) Experience with traffic isolation, and network virtualization technologies (ACL, VRF, DMVPN)
Pay Rate: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
