Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience, 2 years of overall RN experience required License: For start dates 2-4 weeks out, must have appropriate license in hand. For start dates 4+ weeks out, must have started the licensing process to be submitted. Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have: Management and interpretation of dysrhythmias Job Description: - The Covid vaccine is required for all travelers on specific campuses. Medical or religious exemptions are accepted with a doctor's note.- Effective 11/30/24, restrictions apply to certain RNs based on location exemptions. - Travelers are expected to work every other weekend, with potential consecutive weekends based on needs.- Floating to different levels of care may be expected, resources will be provided as needed.- Staffing ratios are expected to be 1:5-6.- Unit involves post-operative care, including specialties like Urology, GYN, GI, Ortho, and some pre-op patients.- Charge nurse responsibilities may be required based on operational needs, with training and resources provided.- The flu vaccine is required; medical/religious exemptions are accepted.- Modules must be completed pre-start and are non-billable, estimated between 6-12 hours.- Orientation consists of 12 hours and is non-billable.
