Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: PCU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 18 months experience required License: Must have IN or compact license. For start dates in 2-4 weeks, license must be in hand. For start dates 4+ weeks out, the licensing process must be initiated. Certifications: Certifications required based on unit specifics Must-Have: COVID vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions acceptable with documentation; flu vaccine status unknown Job Description: - First-time travelers are accepted.- Shift requirements include 4x12 or 3x12 schedules.- Call-ins must be made up during the pay period or added to the end of the contract.- Travelers are expected to work every other weekend, with possible consecutive weekends depending on operational needs.- Unit charge nurse responsibilities may be required with provided training and resources.- Floating to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) is required with resources provided if needed.- Staffing ratios are maintained at 1:4.- Candidates must be graduates of a university accredited by ACEN or CCNE.- Must provide 2 supervisor references for submission.- Local residents are not accepted for certain unit positions.- Completion of modules is required prior to start, taking an average of 6-12 hours.- Orientation consists of 12 non-billable hours.
