Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgical Services Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Guaranteed Hours: N/A Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: IN/Compact License (process must be started prior to submission) Certifications: BCLS Must-Have: Telemetry and IV Start skills Job Description: - Registered nurse for the Cardiovascular Surgical Services unit with responsibilities in managing cases involving cardiovascular and peripheral vascular surgeries, arrhythmias, endocarditis, CHF exacerbation, and overflow situations.- Must be flexible with weekend scheduling to meet unit needs, with a requirement to work 50% of weekends during the contract.- Required to possibly precept and/or be assigned students to shadow during the assignment.- Call-in policy requires you to make up the shift during the pay period if unable to, the shift will be added at the end of the contract.- Required skills include Telemetry and IV Start with a minimum of 2 years of experience.- Floating to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) may be required with provided resources.- Must be able to work two out of three major holidays.- Completion of modules is required pre-start; non-billable and average 6-12 hours.- Possibility of charge nurse responsibilities based on operational needs with training and resources provided. - Compliance with flu vaccination is required, with medical/religious exemptions as applicable.
