Position Summary

This position is responsible for developing and executing tests on new and existing products to ensure that they meet the requisite functional, technical, and regulatory compliance and maintain high overall product quality. Interface with Game/OS Development and other Product Development staff to resolve issues in a timely manner. Also responsible for having proficient understanding of the software test methodologies and procedures in order to ensure testing efficiency and high level of quality. Will participate in mentoring Associate SQA Engineers. Organize and lead inter-departmental project meetings.

Essential Job Functions : Develop, hold reviews and execute test plans and test scripts for new and existing game themes and operating systems Follow all of the SQA Work Instructions on a daily basis Submit and track any product issues found during testing to ensure that they are resolved Lead software defect scrub meetings and Test Milestone hand-off meetings with Development Utilize all required databases for SQA functions and testing Provide input to the weekly project status report for each assigned project Provide detailed Completion Report at the end of each project Participate and provide input during root cause analysis phase Interface with other members of Product Development in order to effectively communicate and resolve all reported issues in a timely manner before the gaming product is released Proficient understanding of software test methodologies/procedures and the overall product development lifecycle Reproduce issues when necessary in order to assist software development in resolving issues Responsible for project escalations for each assigned project Other Duties and Responsibilities :

Assist the SQA Department on special projects Introduce process improvement initiatives Establish key contacts with upstream organizations that have a direct impact on SQA Mentor new Associate SQA Engineers on assigned projects Qualifications

Qualifications :

Academic and/or working knowledge of Visual Studio Academic and/or work experience with C and/or C++, Python Academic and/or working knowledge of Linux/Unix Academic and/or proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Basic knowledge of the gaming industry Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred Required Experience:

1 - 3 years of relevant SQA work experience Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Working knowledge of computer operation and principles of computer hardware Working knowledge or experience with test repositories such as Tricentis qTest Working knowledge or experience with the JIRA Issue Management tool Working knowledge of real-time embedded systems Working knowledge of Agile methodologies Knowledge or experience with C and/or C++, Python or other shell scripting languages a plus Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to communicate and collaborate with other team members Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment Detail-oriented and organized Capable of providing input and potential solutions to identified issues Ability to work with limited supervision Vision:

Close vision Depth perception Ability to adjust focus Peripheral vision Ability to distinguish colors Physical Requirements:

Stand for long periods of time Extensive time in front of LCD's and Electronic Gaming Machine screens Repetitive motion to open heavy Electronic Gaming Machine doors Work Conditions:

100% in office schedule The ability to move between projects with little notice and the ability to adapt quickly Overtime and weekend hours may be required to meet project schedules
