13 weeksRequirements:MO License1-2 years' experience preferredBLSACLS & CPI preferredOther Details:Charting: EPICFirst-timers acceptedNo locals, must be at least 75 miles from facilityFloat within service lineRatio- 1:4-5 for all other shiftsPatient Diagnoses: Acute Care Patients: Infection, Renal, Cardiac, Pulmonary, Oncology, Ortho, Bariatric, pre transplant, observation and Psychology, long stay, COVIDSpecial Procedures/Unit Details: Our patients may stay on our unit for only a few hours to a day or so, if no beds are available, especially during high census periods. Therefore, as nurses, we can work with many patients in one shift as our patient turnover is very high. An advantage to working with patient placement is the vast variety of patient conditions we receive from the ED. Our nurses receive additional and required training to enable them to care for a variety of patients. So, be prepared to learn a lot of new and challenging skills.Special Equipment: Alaris pumps, CPAPs, BIPAPs, Bladder scanners, Lifts, Hover mats, EKGs, ScalesCOVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not RequiredFlu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions OnlyRN/ Medical Surgical

Start date: 3-4 weeks out per compliance tier

Ratio- 1:4-5 for all other shifts
