Travel RN - Medical Surgical - Gen MedShift : Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hours per week, EOW, No callLength : 13 weeksRequirements:MO License1-2 years' experience preferredBLSACLS, CPI preferredOther Details:Ratios: 1:6EMR: EpicFloat: Will float within service lineHome address must be at least 75 miles from facilityPatient Diagnoses: Acute Care Patients: Infection, Renal, Cardiac, Pulmonary, Oncology, Ortho, Bariatric, pre transplant, observation and Psychology, long stay, COVIDSpecial Procedures/Unit Details: Our patients may stay on our unit for only a few hours to a day or so, if no beds are available, especially during high census periods. Therefore, as nurses, we can work with many patients in one shift as our patient turnover is very high. An advantage to working with patient placement is the vast variety of patient conditions we receive from the ED. Our nurses receive additional and required training to enable them to care for a variety of patients. So, be prepared to learn a lot of new and challenging skills.Special Equipment: Alaris pumps, CPAPs, BIPAPs, Bladder scanners, Lifts, Hover mats, EKGs, ScalesRN/ Medical Surgical
Start date: 3-4 weeks out per compliance tier
Ratio- 1:4-5 for all other shifts
Years of experience REQ: 1-2 years experience preferred
First-timers accepted: Yes
Weekend REQ: Every other weekend required
Is on-call REQ?: No
Certs REQ: BLS
Certs Pref: ACLS, CPI
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float within service line
Open to accommodating block schedule? No
Locals accepted: No local candidates accepted within 75 mile radius.
Pending License accepted: Yes
RTO Restrictions: no more than 7 days of RTO per 13 week contract
