Years of experience REQ: 1 year experience required
First-timers accepted: YES
Weekend REQ: Every other weekend required
Certs REQ: BLS
Is on-call REQ? NO call
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Floating to MS and all hospital care areas to care for pts within scope. This includes ED to care for admitted MS holds and the ICU to care for MS holds
Open to accommodating block schedule? At manager discretion, willing to consider
Locals accepted: No Locals
Pending License accepted: Yes
RTO Restrictions: RTO must be submitted with application. RTO after confirmation at manager discretion
Special Requirements: EPIC not required, but strongly preferred; ACLS and CPI preferred.
Your role as a trauma nurse includes:
Coordinating resources (multiple orders, consulting services, etc.), perform serial assessments and identify changes, analyze trends in your patient’s assessment, determining priorities, communication, and documentation. You should document your assessment, any interventions done, re-assessment after interventions, any significant events, and communication with the trauma team
