Travel RN - PCU - 6N-Advanced Pulmonary 48's

Shift:

Days, 7a-7:30p, 12x4, 48hrs per week, Will also accept 36's

Length:

13 weeksCall-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contractTravelers are expected to work every other week per their contract

Requirements:

IN LicenseMinimum 2 Year ExperienceWill consider MedSurg RN with ICU and PCU patient experience with an additional 2 years

BLSACLSPrevious Charge Experience preferred

Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if neededUnit not accepts 1st time TravelerLocal Radius: IN residents are considered localStaffing Ratios: PCU assignments are 1:4 and MedSurg assignments are 1:5-632 bed, mixed model unit. 15 of our beds are PCU, and 17 are Medsurg.

We are a cardio-pulmonary unit, with an emphasis on pulmonary. Our primary patient population is cardiac medical, valve replacement (cardiac and pulmonary), COPD, CHF, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, lung transplant (pre and post), trach-to-vent, neurodegenerative diseases requiring trach-to-vent, trauma (cervical spinal fx) requiring trach-to-vent, flu, TB, and COVID19 (only 3 on unit currently).Unit: 6N-Advanced PulmonaryEpic Travel Staffing:
