Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU A5 South 48'sShift: Days/ 7a-7:30p, 12x4, 48hrs/week, will accept 36's, weekend required
Length: 13 WeeksCall-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contractRequirements:
IN/Compact license2 years' experienceTelemetry, Proficient Neuro ExperienceManagement of Drips requiredBLS, ACLS, NIHSSConscious Sedation and Level 1 Trauma Experience preferredOther Details:
Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed

Staffing Ratios: 1:3-4 (Will Rarely See 5 During Emergencies)MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.Require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment.First Time Travelers AcceptedShift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12*** Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. Skillset Preferences: Conscious Sedation and Level 1 Trauma ExperienceFloating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist HospitalsStaffing Ratios: 1:3-4 (Will Rarely See 5 During Emergencies)Unit Information: CVAs, Hydrocephalus, brain tumors and resections, seizures, and TBIs; shooting, stabbings, MVCs, people falling over rugs etc. GI surgeries and large wound cleaning and closures.COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):
