Insurance Compliance Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE:

To facilitate the insurance procurement and renewal process for the company’s vendors.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acquire and maintain vendor certificates of insurance for the company’s vendors
  • Review vendor insurance certificates of insurance and advise on any corrections necessary to comply with company policies
  • Monitor upcoming vendor insurance expirations
  • Work with local purchasing department teams to ensure continuous compliance
  • Notify vendors of any non-compliance
  • Perform annual and quarterly trend reports and present findings to management
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Excellent people skills, with an ability to work with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Solid project-management skills
  • Ability to gather and analyze information from multiple sources
  • Flexible and able to multi-task and establish priorities; can work within a dynamic, fast-moving environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable communicating via phone and email
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and business-related software

Education & Work Experience

  • College degree required
  • One year of experience with insurance policies is preferred
  • Prior homebuilding-industry experience preferred
