Insurance Compliance Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE:
To facilitate the insurance procurement and renewal process for the company’s vendors.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Acquire and maintain vendor certificates of insurance for the company’s vendors
- Review vendor insurance certificates of insurance and advise on any corrections necessary to comply with company policies
- Monitor upcoming vendor insurance expirations
- Work with local purchasing department teams to ensure continuous compliance
- Notify vendors of any non-compliance
- Perform annual and quarterly trend reports and present findings to management
- Other duties as assigned

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent people skills, with an ability to work with individuals at all levels of an organization
- Solid project-management skills
- Ability to gather and analyze information from multiple sources
- Flexible and able to multi-task and establish priorities; can work within a dynamic, fast-moving environment
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable communicating via phone and email
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and business-related software
Education & Work Experience
- College degree required
- One year of experience with insurance policies is preferred
- Prior homebuilding-industry experience preferred
