VCA South Arundel Animal Hospital is actively seeking an experienced and determined Certified Veterinary Technician Supervisor to help oversee clinic operations and supervise our Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants.

Veterinary Technician Supervisor Role will include but are not limited to:
Directing work flow on the floorCultivate an inclusive work environment and strong hospital cultureWork cohesively with hospital management and supervisory teams to aid in the progression of the hospitalHelp with the interview process for potential new hires and onboard all new associatesAssists in the educational development of technicians and their skillsConduct staff meetingsProvide opportunities for staff to gain more firsthand experienceMentoring technicians within the departmentResolve conflicts in a professional and humble mannerRefining and implementing protocolsEnsure that VCA polices, guidelines, and recommendations are implemented by all members of the technical staff
You will work alongside our Medical Director, Hospital Manager, and Department Supervisors to provide mentorship, ensure the hospital runs efficiently and fosters a winning environment.
VETERINARY TECHNICIAN SUPERVISOR QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed Veterinary Technician- CVT, LVT, RVT2+ years of clinical experienceTeam leadership experiencePassion for Veterinary MedicineExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal
