THE JOB:
It is the primary responsibility of the Database Marketing Analyst to support the financial feasibility of strategic marketing initiatives with accurate and timely reporting.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:Produces forecasts, pro-forma and post-forma reports, and ad hoc analysesIdentify and validate criteria requirements for campaignsProvide and interpret data to produce insights and recommendations to marketing leadershipIdentify and analyze crossover trends between segments and propertiesUnderstands and champions the MGM Rewards program and marketing campaigns to promote customer retentionWork with multiple MGM Resorts departments including but not limited to COEs, Corporate Analytics, Direct Marketing, Brand, Information TechnologyTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience2+ Years of Experience in Analytics, Casino Marketing, Database, or related fieldCritical thinking skills are required to interpret complex business problems, design, develop, and execute effective solutions, and analyze marketing campaign results to provide actionable information to leadershipHave interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contactsAble to read and write different SQL database languagesA team player with strong analytical, communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skillsOutstanding organizational skills are a must, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyKnowledge of the casino industry including administrative, marketing, casino operations, gaming regulations and employee relationsKnowledge of multiple systems that support business objectives preferred, specifically SQL Server, Opera, campaign management software and knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint requiredAbility to use clear judgment in decision makingTHE PERKS & BENEFITS:
