Job Summary
Medline Industries, LP is the leading nationwide supplier of medical, surgical and pharmaceutical products to hospitals, nursing homes, HME providers, surgery centers, physician offices, and home care/hospice settings.
Due to continued growth, we are in need of a Technology Manager to join our team.
Our Technology Manager, under the supervision of the Director of Supply Chain Optimization, is responsible for delivering healthcare solutions that meet our customers’ needs. This role combines project management expertise of technology implementations, with a deep understanding of the healthcare domain to drive successful outcomes and maintain positive relationships with customers.
As a Technology Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple customer facing projects, delivering a variety of technology based services, working with cross divisional functions to drive customer satisfaction. Effective communication to internal and external stakeholders is crucial, as well as demonstrated ability to handle projects and customers with varying complexity. You will also manage the partnered vendors’ technology stack.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple customer facing projects and provide internal update reports for management. Maintain project timelines and milestones, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
Serve as point of contact with internal and external customers and work with various departments on project requirements, status updates, testing and validation, and final approval for implementation.
Manage and optimize the organization’s technological infrastructure, including hardware, software, and IT networks.
Oversee technology implementation projects on-site at customers and software development projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to protect company data and systems.
Monitor technological trends and developments to keep the company at the forefront of industry advancements. Evaluate and recommend new technology partners to support company growth and innovation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8-10 years of proven experience in a technology management role, with a track record of successfully implementing technology solutions.
Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders
Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading teams and projects.
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
At least 3 years minimum of project management experience.
In-depth knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks and cybersecurity.
Travel requirement of up to 50%

Technology implementation management
People management and technology stack development
ESL Technology, Inventory Management Systems and processes within hospital IT infrastructure (barcode scanning, RFID, ERP systems), Healthcare Regulations, Cybersecurity and Integration/Connection Setups
