What You'll Do:
As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a critical role in managing their multi-entity project accounting, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, and driving financial efficiency across large-scale projects. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, working closely with Finance, Operations, and Project Managers to provide insights that help steer projects to success. Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant Include:
- Manage end-to-end project accounting, handling multi-entity financial tracking, reporting, and analysis
- Collaborate with Project Managers to track project progress, monitor changes and expenses, and evaluate profitability
- Oversee intercompany transactions and foreign currency exchanges
- Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP, ASC 606, and other relevant standards
- Review and reconcile financial statements, revenue reports, and project budgets
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for multiple entities
- Provide support for internal and external audits
- Drive improvements in accounting systems and workflows for scalability and efficiency
- Mentor and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices for project accounting
Who You Are:
You're a high-performing Senior Accountant with a passion for project accounting and a solid understanding of revenue recognition complexities. You are detail-oriented, organized, and have a knack for working with multiple entities and juggling priorities in a dynamic tech environment.
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on project accounting for multi-entity organizations
- Proficiency in revenue recognition principles (GAAP, ASC 606)
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Salary range: $80-95K
