We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Controller to lead our finance team. The Accounting Controller will play a crucial role in overseeing all financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and driving strategic financial planning. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work closely with various departments to support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities of the Controller:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Conduct financial analysis and variance reporting to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of financial audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
