The Role - What A Day In The Life Looks Like:
As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for efficient/accurate processing and posting of vendor invoices, customer payments, receivable documents, and month-end worksheets. Daily tasks include:
Accounts Payable: Maintain the A/P email inbox, match vendor invoices, and key in freight invoicesAccounts Receivable: Process customer invoicing, manage collections, and handle customer portalsBanking: Process incoming mail and checks, and handle daily bank transactionsTeam Collaboration: Assist with maintaining accurate records, updating procedural documentation, and providing backup support to the team
Qualifications - What You Bring To The Table:
Driven Achiever: You achieve results through your strong work ethic and daily determinationAccuracy: You have strong attention to detail and are self-driven to see tasks through to finishEducation: Associate degree in Accounting or related fieldExperience: Minimum of 2 years related accounting experienceTechnology User: Microsoft Office (Microsoft Great Plains is a plus!) and Excel data entry
