The Role - What A Day In The Life Looks Like:

In this role, you will be at the heart of our financial operations for multiple portfolio businesses with heavy focus on our scale business, UniFide CST. You will ensure accuracy and efficiency in all of their accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily/Weekly Accounting Tasks:

Perform daily and weekly accounting functions for multiple portfolio businessesComplete customer invoicing and accounts receivable (AR) reportingManage customer collections and maintain accurate AR recordsPost daily banking transactions, including EFT drafts and bank uploadsHandle daily accounts payable (AP) duties and credit card postings

Reconciliation and Record Maintenance:

Analyze and reconcile daily and monthly account activityMaintain precise and up-to-date accounting recordsPerform vendor, supplier, and carrier account reconciliationsPrepare adjustment entries and reconcile general ledger accounts monthlySet up and maintain vendor and customer accountsMaintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules

Month-End and Year-End Closings:

Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processesRecord recurring and one-time month-end journal entriesComplete bank reconciliations and post inventory adjustmentsReview and prepare 1099 tax documentsEnsure timely and accurate reporting of financial statements

Qualifications - What You Bring To The Table:

Associate's degree in Accounting or related fieldMinimum of 2+ years related accounting work experienceA detail-oriented and proactive professional with a strong background in accountingStrong analytical skills with the ability to reconcile accounts and maintain accurate recordsExperience with month-end and year-end closing processesKnowledge of sales and use tax reporting, excise taxes, and general compliance is preferred
