Job Description
This position is grant funded. Therefore, it is solely dependent of availability of grant funds.
Provides data management support for the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring (ADDM) project. Oversees the management and protection of personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI). Utilizes statistical software to produce reports, conduct analyses, and create data visualization dashboards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.Acts as the data manager for the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring (ADDM) projectPerforms deidentification procedures as necessaryImports data into REDCap databaseRequests and updates REDCap project as per CDC requirementsPerforms initial data cleaning and on-going data validation checks in REDCap databaseConducts additional formatting for initial administrative data from sources and partnersProduces monthly or quarterly reports to comply with reporting requirements for the ADDM projectAdheres to CDC data management guidelines and develops site-specific manuals as neededCreates, runs, and executes queries to produce reports as requestedResponsible for new software enhancement and implementationExports data at the end of the surveillance year from REDCap database, following CDC standardsWorks closely wit hthe Epidemiologist to perform analysesMontors surveillance area coverage and identified potential new sourcesProvides support in creating new used profiles for staff in our databases and programsCoordinates any software or database trainings upon requestTroubleshoots, researchers, and resolves error messages in REDCap database, statistical analysis software, and other programsAssists in setup of hardware including printers and copiersProvides general software supportMust follow all rules of telephone courtesy in all communicationsWill be required to drive a City vehicle for City business usePerforms other duties as assigned.COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE OF JOB DUTIES
