The Construction Administrator’s responsibilities include managing the Division’s job start process, handling essential forms and document postings promptly, compiling and updating reports, performing data entry, coordinating with Construction Managers, maintaining files, processing invoices, and answering phones. The role demands strong multitasking skills and a results-driven approach in a team environment. Your Responsibilities on the Team 

  • Assist construction teams by preparing start packages, paying reinspection fees, scanning and posting permit information, and handling other administrative tasks.
  • Provide general support to the Starts Manager, permitting team, VP of Operations, VP of Construction, and the field construction team.
  • Maintain and update online files for ongoing construction projects.
  • Coordinate meetings and events for the construction team.
  • Work on special projects as assigned by department heads.
  • Prepare presentation materials for team meetings.
  • Compile and maintain production tracking reports using information from Construction Managers and BuildPro reports.
  • Collect updated information from the field regarding Production, Safety, and SWPPP.
  • Offer administrative assistance to Construction Managers as needed.
  • Update BuildPro tasks and JD Edwards data as directed.
  • May assist the customer care and customer experience team.
  • May be responsible for coding invoices and distributing for approval.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • At least 2 years of administrative experience required.
  • Professional attitude required to positively represent the company.
  • Proficient in PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and JD Edwards.
  • Strong follow-up, communication (both written and verbal), and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines professionally.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic, integrity, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Team player with the capability to perform well in high-pressure situations.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate computer keyboard, calculator and telephone equipment.

General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:

We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an hourly rate of $21.34 - $33, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.
