Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant include but are not limited to:

Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, journal entries and financial reports
Prepare monthly financial statements, reporting and flux analysis
Fixed asset processing, reconciling, and reporting tax related depreciation forecasts
Month end accounting system close (Elite 3E), balancing and resolution of any issues
Research company credit card transactions and process the bill monthly
Assist with preparing year-end review schedules and reports
Provide back-up to Accounts Payable and prepare 1099 Forms

Background Expected of the Staff Accountant:

Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and equivalent work experience (2 to 4 years)
2+ years of experience in a similar role
Experience with a major ERP
Strong knowledge of MS Excel
