Overview of the Logistics Coordinator role:

  • Ensures that all shipping deadlines are met and orders are delivered to warehouse in a timely fashion
  • Serves as point of contact for the fulfillment facilities and vendor shipping team, as well as other internal collaborators
  • Coordinates routing of domestic purchase orders as well as the delivery schedules and accurate bills of lading
  • Updating shipments as required on organization's internal tracking system
  • Properly communicate with upper management on any urgent issues
  • Coordinate with trucking companies to ensure timely pick up of shipments
  • Prepare advance shipping notification with warehouse prior to shipment arrivals
  • Coordinate with vendors and carriers on warehouse availability and requirement
  • Weekly reporting as needed

Preferred Qualifications for the Logistics Coordinator:

  • 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Sourcing
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to lead presentations with management
  • Strong knowledge of both MS Office and Google Suite
  • Meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skills
  • Experience with SalesForce or a similar application
  • 3+ years of Customer Service experience
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Great communication and follow-through
