Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of complex tax regulations. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with tax laws. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing exceptional tax advisory services to our clients.
Responsibilities* Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.* Conduct in-depth tax research and analysis to identify potential tax savings opportunities and mitigate tax risks.* Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, offering strategic recommendations to optimize their tax positions.* Effectively communicate complex tax matters to clients and internal team members in a clear and concise manner.* Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery and proactive communication.* Mentor and develop staff accountants by sharing knowledge and expertise.* Stay current with evolving tax laws and regulations through ongoing professional development.* Collaborate with the tax team to identify and implement process improvements.
Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's degree preferred.* CPA certification required.* Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting.* Experience in Public Accounting required* Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.* Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., UltraTax).* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
