Duties:
Please ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely.- Perform nuclear medicine procedures and PET scans.- Operate imaging equipment and ensure accurate and high-quality images are obtained.- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and monitor their reactions during procedures.- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging protocols.- Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures performed.- Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) required.- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques..- Experience with mammography is a plus.- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately.- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
