The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures and PET scans to assist in the diagnostic evaluation of patients. This is a contract opportunity that will have the tech travel between offices in the area. No call and no weekends required.
*Education/Experience*
Graduated from accredited Nuclear Medicine program; ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT), CPR required. Three to five years of experience performing Nuclear Medicine procedures preferred.
*Responsibilities*- Conduct nuclear medicine procedures and PET scans following established protocols- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals using aseptic technique- Operate imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret scan results- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection standards during procedures* *Skills** - Proficiency in nuclear medicine techniques and procedures- Experience with PET scans and other medical imaging technologies- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology- Strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation processes- Ability to maintain a sterile environment using aseptic techniques
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
