Job Description The purpose of this position is to administer, manage and provide high-level support for the college information system and other third party systems utilized by the college. This is accomplished by coordinating, communicating and collaborating with end users, technical users, college management and vendors; ensuring the integration of systems; documentation and process analysis; aligning systems with business processes; developing business-process and database models; managing databases; scripting; and programming systems. Other duties include providing alternative solutions to departments in their enhancement of business processes; ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations; and adapting and aligning technology tools. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States, as the College does not offer Visa sponsorship for this position Required Education Minimum of an associates degree Required Experience Minimum of 2 years experience working with Linux/Unix environments and Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and shell scripting Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and shell scripting Experience with Linux/Unix environments Experience working with technical and functional end users troubleshooting issues Experience creating and organizing documentation of technical processes Knowledge and skill in creating and administering scripts and programs to enhance business processes Ability to manage multiple complex and time sensitive projects simultaneously Ability to work independently and as a member of a team in accomplishing tasks.
