Position Summary: As an Early Intervention Speech Therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the communication development of young children. Your responsibilities will involve assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy for speech and language disorders in preschool aged children in their natural environments. You will collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create individualized intervention plans tailored to each child's needs. Your aim is to help children overcome communication challenges and reach their full potential in both academic and social settings.
Job Details May Include:
1. Paid travel and report-writing for guaranteed hours positions2. Services based on Individual Education Plans (IEPS) in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team3. Supporting children ages 3-5 in their natural environment4. Flexibility in both scheduling and location!5. Easy access to materials, assessments, and protocols6. Support from Directors and Mentors with backgrounds in the Early Intervention Field
Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited university with an MA, or M.S. in communication disorders that is recognized by ASHA and state board.Holds current license and/or registration in the state (as applicable).Holds current PDE Cert in the state (if applicable).Nyman Associates Team members enjoy broad support, including:Opportunities for professional growth through a community of practice forums, including career advancement pathsDedicated and responsive support from clinical directorsAccess to free Continuing Education/Professional Development opportunitiesMentorship
