This is an evaluation of a full-time hire position!
Duties:
Build custom heavy equipment by assembling, installing, and repairing the equipmentWorking on a forklift, forklift attachments, and other heavy equipmentReading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the sequence and methods of assembling productsInstalling assemblies in a supportive framework according to blueprintsInspecting assemblies and installation for conformance to specificationsOther duties as needed
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs):
2+ years' experience in heavy equipment mechanic and assembly work; priority is given to those who have built heavy equipment from the ground upREQUIRED to be able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and product specificationsSetting up and operating fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls, and routers to cut, bend, block, form, or straighten materialsExperience installing assemblies in a supportive framework according to blueprints.Inspect final assemblies to ensure proper conformance and specificationsAbility to work across multiple product lines as neededAbility to rig loads with jib cranes, chains, ropes, and overhead cranesLift, push, pull up to 50lbs
Must have your own set of tools:
3/8 and 1/2' drive socket wrenchesOpen-end wrenches up to 2'ScrewdriversAllen wrenchesHammersPliersTri squareNut driversOffset wrenchesDie grinderImpacts
Pay:
$22 - $28/hr. per DOE
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 6:00am to 2:30 pm
