A client of ours in Sherwood is looking to add an experienced MIG Welders to their team. These positions are a great fit for hard-working, reliable individuals looking for long-term employment with competitive pay!
This is an evaluation to a full-time hire position!
Qualifications:To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications:
Proficiency in achieving high-quality and maximum strength welds with a wide range of metal sizes, with minimal distortion.Capability to read blueprints and weld symbols (able to pass a Weld Exam).Experience welding 052-055 wireStrong math skills.Knowledge of jib and overhead cranes.Ability to fit from blueprint with or without fixtures.Proficient in planning all welding jobs from start to finish, using a wide range of metal sizes.Ability to work with limited supervision.Capability to work across multiple product lines (six different product lines).Must be able to wear steel-toed boots and metatarsal guards.Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, background check, drug screen, and respirator exam.
Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm
