We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.* The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate accounting, financial analysis, and double-entry bookkeeping. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
*Duties*- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, journal entries, and financial reporting.- Prepare and analyze financial statements to provide insights into business performance.- Oversee the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, particularly in wills, trusts, and estate law.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support private equity initiatives and financial services projects.- Implement and maintain financial software systems to enhance efficiency in accounting processes.- Conduct regular audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.- Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
*Qualifications*- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is preferred.- Proven experience in corporate accounting with a focus on double-entry bookkeeping.- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles related to financial services.- Familiarity with wills, trusts, estate law is a plus.- Proficiency in financial software applications and tools for effective data management.- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
