TravelUnit Notes- Unit/NICU Level: NICU - Level 3b- # beds: 16 beds within a year they will increase to 20 beds- Certs: BLS, NRP is required- COIVD Vaccine is REQUIRED- Ratios: 1 to 1 or 1 to 3 if feeder/growers- EMR: Cerner- 2 Years' Exp.- Floating: float to L&D to care for babies or to postpartum to care for babies- Floor specific orientation: 2-3 shifts- Weekend Requirement: every other- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: All gestational ages, candidates must have level 3 NICU experience, being able to attend deliveries is preferred, no ecmo, MUST have 2-3 years' NICU experience and travel experience is preferred. They will transfer patients out for surgery, Spanish speaking nurses is preferred, they take care of a lot of premies, sepsis, cooling-exp with cooling preferred, substance abuse/withdrawal.
