Your Role in Our Mission:

Our Respiratory Therapy team combines expertise, cutting-edge technology and a compassionate touch to improve patients’ respiratory health and enhance their quality of life. From routine breathing treatments to critical cases requiring advanced intervention, you will be challenged to think on your feet and adapt to your patients’ needs.
We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to help us continue bringing advanced respiratory care to our patients.
In accordance with department and hospital policies and procedures, a Respiratory Therapist must administer general respiratory care modalities, operate independently in all adult intensive care areas and function as a Code Captain in at least one patient population: Adult, Pediatric or Neonatal.With an emphasis on continuing education, a therapist must develop and broaden assessment skills, communication skills and knowledge base within these areas while preparing for the next level of respiratory therapy in Pediatric, Neonatal and Critical Care.A therapist should be competent to perform all duties and responsibilities of a shift lead and function as an alternate shift lead therapist.A role in Respiratory Care requires collaboration with multiple members of a patient's care team, including the implementation and monitoring of all therapeutic modalities per physicians' orders.A therapist must provide on call staffing for department needs.

NoneWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY:
Required Education:
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
Required Experience:
2 years experience as an RRT practicing in a Neonatal, Pediatric or Adult patient population. Validation of competencies for a Respiratory Therapist Critical Care.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
Must possess & maintain licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with the State of Florida Department of Health and the National Board of Respiratory CarePossess Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) AND Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) preferred-must be obtained within 90 days of start.
