HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Job Summary:
To administer general respiratory care modalities in all areas, excluding NICU, in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.Function independently in PICU and all adult intensive care areas.Implement and monitor therapeutic modalities per physician's orders.Provide on call staffing for department needs.Develop and broaden assessment skills, communication skills, and knowledge base while preparing for the next level, Respiratory Therapist Critical Care.
Reports: Respiratory Care Lead
Supervises: None
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY:
Required Education:
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
Required Experience:
None
Required Certification/License/Registry:
Must possess & maintain licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with the State of Florida Department of Health and the National Board of Respiratory Care and possess Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) AND Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) preferred-must be obtained within 90 days of start
