The right candidates will have 2+ years of current MS/Tele experience and MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE DRIPS. This is a COVID unit.An active BLS, ACLS and an active AZ license (or compact) are also required.COVID vaccine is required, or religious or medical declination form (with appropriate documentation).Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (with 2 max attempts).There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions.Job Requirements

Unit: MedSurg B2D# beds: 30 bedsCerts: BLS, ACLSRatios: 1:4 ratio, days and nightsCharge Nurse: Yes, does not take patients. Also has Unit Supervisor.Nurse Aides: PCTs on days. 1 PCT or SWAT RN at night to task.Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period (days - Sat, Sun, nights - Fri, Sat). One major and minor holiday.Scrub Color: NavyTele: GE Monitors. Central monitoring station tech to read.Vents: CPAP possible.Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Must call Physician.IV Team: No. House SWAT Nurse available for hard IV sticks.RT 24/7: YesPharmacy 24/7: Yes, ICU Pharmacist covers on days.Shifts: 12 hrs. 7-7.Floating: Float to MedSurg Tele C5 and B2CFloor specific orientation: 2 shifts on the floor.Common diagnosis / Types of patients: General and Ortho trauma stepdown unit. Chest tubes, drains, wound vacs. Little to no traction patients. Amio, Cardizem to titrate down only. Peritoneal dialysis patients on floor but contract dialysis handles.Additional Details
