The Sr. Analyst will be crucial in supporting our VP Finance with financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis to inform strategic decision-making and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages and key financial reports to meet various business needs and helps drive business decisions (current and future)Analyzes past, current, and future financial data and operational performancePrepares monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting packages to senior managers and executive leadership teamsAnalyzes financial performance indicators (KPIs) to explain variance from forecast and plan to actuals or within versions of forecastsDistributes monthly flash revenue and EBITDA results to give an early indicator of results compared to latest forecastAssists Unit managers with monitoring and controlling labor (including headcount) and non-labor cost movementsPartners with accounting functions to gather explanation for financial variancesResponds to ad-hoc inquiries regarding financial results and analysis requestsCore Competencies:
Strong attention to detail and organization skillsStrong communication skills, both orally and written, especially communication of financial results and informationAbility to analyze and translate outcomes of financial models and data into insights to drive the businessExcellent understanding of/or skills with financial planning & reporting systemsRequired Education / Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, including at least 2 years concentrated in Finance/ FP&A.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong financial modeling skillsPreferred Education / Experience:
Preferred SaaS/ Technology IndustryData mining and database leadership skillsProficiency in Excel Macro/ Query is preferrableOracle/ FP&A tools experience is preferable
Salary range: $74,206 - $109,935
